Normally residing in Ḥabrūt, Suhayl bir Zaʿbenōt was visiting al-Ghaydha when I met him in the summer of 2008. He was familiar with a number of exchanged reǧzīt that took place between the muqaddams and notables of Zaʿbenōt and their counterparts among the other tribes of al-Mahra.
